Welding ProdUCTS
Welding is a hazardous undertaking and it is important to protect both your welders and those working around them. After all, welders are not only at risk of injury themselves, but also of people in the surrounding areas. Singer Safety Company’s safety screens are used by our clients to provide protection during a variety of manufacturing operations including welding, grinding, and cutting. Our welding screens are a simple and versatile way to increase workplace safety by creating a barrier between the operation and the other workers. We offer welding screens in a variety of sizes, three different styles, six different material options, and more than six different colors. Our welding and safety screens can meet the specific needs of any application. Learn more about Singer Safety Company’s welding & safety screens.
A welding screen acts as an enclosure that creates a safe environment for those working inside the enclosure and also those outside the enclosure. Welding screens are manufactured with high-quality materials that can withstand the extreme temperatures of welding operations, and keep everyone in the vicinity safe from harm.
When Do I Need to Use Welding & Safety Screens?
Welding and safety screens are necessary in any facility that does not have a separate welding area. Typically, welding screens are used by welders in areas where they weld in close proximity to other people. Welding screens can reduce the amount of dangerous UV light that other workers or bystanders will be exposed to during welding operations.

Measurements
Width
- Measure the distance that you are trying to cover
- We will generally add 10% to this dimension to give your curtain proper drape.
- When you receive your quote, the hardware width will be the actual width.
Height
- Measure the distance from the floor to the mounting point
- We will subtract 2" to account for the hardware to keep your curtain just off of the ground.
- If you want the floor sweep option, we also subtract the 2". This will allow the floor sweep to lay slightly on the floor while the main curtain is just off of the floor.
- If you have a sloped ceiling please provide us with the high point height and the low point height. We will assume it is a linear straight slope.
